Care for Real, our neighborhood food pantry, will continue food distribution during this time, although they will no longer be distributing clothing. Food distribution hours are the same:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9 AM – 12 PM
Friday, Monthly food ONLY: 3 PM – 4:45 PM
Saturday: 9 AM- 1 PM

Care for Real is located at 5341 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, IL 60640.

Today Vincent, 1475 W. Balmoral, is beginning to offer free carryout meals for restaurant industry employees, senior citizens, and neighbors in need. For more information on tonight's meal and how you can support this effort and/or access this resource, click here.

If you become unemployed, you can file for unemployment benefits with the Illinois Department of Economic Security for benefits. Visit the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) to learn more or visit their website.
