Our efforts extend beyond the Edgewater neighborhood to reach around the globe.
We have a long-term partnership with the Chiapas Project, a Chicago-based mission to the Diocese of Southeast Mexico. Through this relationship we participate in building numerous community ministries in this Diocese. Members of our parish are also able to visit this exciting work.
Through the Chiapas Scholarship Program, we collect money to assist children across this region with the funds and materials needed to stay in school. Each child who receives a scholarship must maintain a level of academic achievement as well as provide a service project to their community.
We also provide resources to assist the victims of disasters across the world to help to rebuild lives after these unexpected tragedies.
The Chiapas Project Food Pantry is supported by donations from The Church of the Atonement, St. Chrysostom’s Church, and Church of Our Saviour in Chicago, Ill.
