Choral Evensong

Sung by the St Cecilia Choir, evensong at Atonement is a time for prayer while listening and participating in music that is especially selected to bring us into deeper understanding of the mysteries of our faith. Featuring the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis, paired with an introit, anthem, psalm and prayers, this holy service surrounds you in music and worship.

Atonement offers evensong several times during the year on Wednesday evenings, and invites you to join us.

Wed. Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. will include the canticles from George Dyson's Evening service in D, Adrian Batten's introit O sing joyfully, and the anthem O thou sweetest source by Charles Wood.

Wed. Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. will feature Collegium Regale by Herbert Howells, John Rutter's God be in my head, and the anthem For lo, I raise up by Charles Villiers Stanford.
