Edgewater Community
Our parish seeks to be a light in our community through both ongoing programs and special activities when needs arise.
Care For Real
For over 40 years, Care for Real has provided food, clothing, household items and other services to the undeserved of Edgewater. Our parish has been an integral part of this community outreach since its inception.
Donations of dry food, canned goods, clothing of all sizes and for all ages, and household items are gladly accepted. There are also volunteer opportunities available throughout the week.

Refugees
Reaching out to the stranger in our land has been a long-term commitment of our parish. Assistance with resettlement, ESL tutoring, and providing for basic needs have been an active way to assist those new to our country. And in doing this we provide a home for these individuals as they begin their new life.
Seniors Programs
A variety of programs are available both in our parish and at senior residences in our community. The goal of these events is to provide an environment that fosters friendships and builds community.
Swift Elementary School
A long-term partnership with Swift Elementary School has provided resources to the children who are students there. School supplies are collected for children in need through our Back(pack) to School program. In 2018 over 160 backpacks filled with supplies were collected, assembled and donated.
World AIDS Day
Each year services are held on World AIDS Day that allow a time to gather, reflect and pray for those we have lost as well as those living with HIV.
